Gibson promises more controversy in "recut" Christ film.

HOLLYWOOD - Mel Gibson, disappointed that there wasn't more controversy (or Oscars) over his movie "The Passion of the Christ", has announced his newest project, a recut, that is sure to be a lightning rod for outrage; "The Puppetry of the Penis of the Christ". The film will be extremely graphic and leave little room for doubt that Christ was actually Jewish.

The three hour film will cover only the three hours in which Christ died on the cross. Gibson refutes claims that this realtime approach with his main character rooted to one spot will be boring. "Most of the movie we're not even showing a whole person. We're zooming in for extreme close ups of the divine member." This film deletes five to six minutes of extreme violence seen in the earlier film and replaces it with five to six minutes of graphic nudity.

Steve Oedekerk, pioneer of the Thumb-ation animation technique will provide special effects to bring facial expression to the holy head.

Early story boards leaked to the press have outraged religious leaders from all faiths. Father Robert Cherry a Roman Catholic priest has said "The depiction of the Son of God naked on a cross with his penis tied into a cross shaped knot is a sacrilege." Rabbi Joshua Cohen was able to view some early footage, and added "When the penis sings "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" its lips are way out of sync." The film, according to a teaser poster, is "Coming Easter 2005".

If this film is a hit Gibson promises a 'prequel" The Circumcision of the Christ - Recut.
